Message | While I realize you could'nt know this the current law in regards to Cabinet proposals goes back nearly a thousand years and has traditionally been used as a means to prevent political diferences from getting out of hand (the Second of several Civil Wars throughout the nations history); essentially under the system that's been in place for when their's more than one party (I was'nt always the only party, we used to have several long term parties) the party that wins the largest share of seats then goes on to propose a proportional cabinet with all parties (excluding those that had been jointly barred from government by agreement of all the other parties) given positions based on how many seats they have, with the largest party choosing which positions to give people as their reward for having onw the most seats. |
