Description[?]:
As part of the Unabhängige Sozialkonservative Partei's election preparations, a series of bills have been drafted illustrating the new party's manifesto commitments. This is the third bill, and concerns the nature of the defence industry and armed forces within the United Imperial Crownlands. 1. A national system of defence shelters should be created, although due to the current international climate we would state this is not a priority. 2. The intelligence services of the Crownlands should be actively hunting out those seek harm outside of our national borders as well as within the country itself. This could be sanctioned through other states via treaty. 3. Note the proviso states they "could" be required, and are not forced into serving during peacetime. As it looks highly unlikely that the Crownlands will go to war soon, this is a largely moot point. 4. Arms sales could generate much revenue, but should not be granted to those the government deems irresponsible or counter-productive to Hulstrian interests. |

Message | We do not believe a conscript army would enhance the effectiveness of our armed forces in times of war, and we have reservations to these regulations of arms sales because they might impose undue burdens upon our nation's sizeable defence industries. |

Message | We see no harm in opening up all markets for the sale of arms - we simply require a small series of regulatory clauses to prevent the sale of weaponry to those against Hulstrian interests. |
