MessageWe believe that if public workers go on strike then their must be a large problem with how public services are run which means that these problems should be fixed before more work should go on anyways.

MessageThe UFP strenuously opposes. Public workers provide needed good and services that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Tell me who would patrol the streets if the police went on strike? Who would man the hospitals if doctors and nurses striked? Who would defend the borders if the army complained? Tell us who would provide the basic public necessities so required for the functioning of the nation? The nation shall not be held hostage and it's people deprived of service because of some disgruntled workers.

MessagePlease calm yourselves, we are simply proposing this as it is our belief that if that many public workers went on strike then something must be seriously wrong with our government and our public services in which case they wouldnt be effectively performing their jobs anyways. A few disgruntled workers going on strike would not cause that large of an impact unless it was much more than a few. If there are more than a few then the public services would need a serious overhaul. We may look at revising this bill to avoid a very unlikely scenario the likes of which you have proposed.

MessageCritical services are not able to be cut off. Only certain public workers are able to strike whose services are not critical to society.
