MessageMr Speaker,

"The ONLY way to improve FAILING public schools", to ape the Hon Gentleman's wording, is to ensure the school is getting proper funding.

Under this Bill, a failing school would lose all their students, and the parents move them to non-failing schools, and the school would go bust. Ultimately, schools will become over-crowded and all students education will suffer.

MessageOOC: The argument that politicians make that public schools "need more funding" is outdated b/c in NYC, the city distributes $20 billion per year to the public schools and school standards are still falling. More money with NO COMPETITION just lines the pockets of education bureaucrats.

MessageOOC: That could just be NYC, though. You're extrapolating one case into an entire argument, which is fallacious.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
