Bill: Leftist League Cabinet Proposal of February 3499

Details

Submitted by[?]: Iqembu Sokusebenzisana Yeningi

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3499

Description[?]:

Now that the CCC's internal controversy over seating our delegates is resolved, we respectfully propose a repeat of the Dark Templars' proposal, which unfortunately failed due to the lack of our votes some months past.

MessageWe have no objection in principle, but the intention here was to duplicate the proposal that the other Leftist League parties had most recently approved. If this is no longer preferable, please present an alternative proposal.

MessageAgain, we ask that the SCI reverses its decision. The Foreign Department still remains vacant and the current government has lost its mandate. The SCI blocking this only prolongs Ikradons cabinet issues.

As stated in the last proposal we are against the inclusion of the PPI and the DCP for the time being. The LL has continually held an out right majority for years now and along with the strong rival of the CCC we see this as the peoples desire for a all LL government. This is not our party trying to control government or run this organization like a dictatorship; this is simply the will of the people as elections prove time and time again. We are not against working with either of the said parties in the future but for now the people cry out for a truly socialist cabinet, based on the LL principles that have sustained this nations socialist culture for over half a millennium.

MessageThe lack of a Foreign Affairs Minister is not very critical for Ikradon, seeing as we are rather isolationist.

We feel that the embodiment of "socialism" encompasses more than just the LL. If you feel the people cry out for your leadership, claim that. But to claim that this cabinet is a "truly" socialist cabinet while excluding two important socialist parties is a bit disingenuous.

This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
