Bill: Freedom

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3507

Description[?]:

As foreign fortune seekers flock around our borders to come here and live of our welfare system or do crimes without real punishments, so does domestic fortune seekers flock around our big cities. Domestic immigration might be the greatest problem of our time, as the identity of the big cities are being lost to peasantification when hordes of hillbilly youngsters travel there to live of the welfare system, studying worthless academical subjects and buying overpriced caffè latte at the cafés as if the coffee machine wasn't good enough for them. The solutions to both of these gigantic problems are to keep wetbacks outside the country by strict border controls and to keep hillbillies out in the field by supporting that honourable kind of lifestyle instead of the filth of the academics.

MessageMr Speaker,

"The Good" seeks to tackle an imaginary problem here. The issue of benefit-seeking immigrants has been tackled under the last, RFR-led administration, when free-for-all immigration with universal welfare was replaced with a qualification-based system. Imposing quotas on nationality implies a bigoted world view on the part of this party.

MessageMr. Speaker,

How could the end of government subsidies for low-income farming families possibly serve to help them rise out of poverty?! Article 3 is the dealbreaker on this bill and we will not even consider the other proposals.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The RFR haven't done well enough to tackle any blood leeching from the welfare system as long as the overfunded, disgusting socialist adult education system still exist, and as long as all aliens are not properly rooted out.

We support subsiding farms that are beneficial to the environment, organic, biodynamic etc. Poorer farmers would get subsidies on those terms.

Pity that a "Draddwyr nationalist" party supports the continued mass-immigration from both the inside and the outside.

MessageMr. Speaker, we support withdrawing from the pro-capitalist Dovanian Common Market, and we are also sympathetic to introducing the comprehensive agricultural policy proposed here. However, we could not be more opposed to the racist immigration policy outlined in Article 2.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Draddwyr we are, nationalist we are not. DC does not seek to divide Dranland's people, we only wish to ensure that the voice of the Draddwyr people are sufficiently and accurately represented in government. And we are the only party able to do so. The Good may label itself Draddwyr nationalist, but it is out of touch with the mainstream modern Draddwyr farmer! Ms. Fahramar is right, we do oppose foreign mass immigration, but our constituents' welfare will always be our first and foremost concern.

In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules.

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
