Bill: Comprehensive Education Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand National Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3507
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, we propose this bill as an alternative to the semi-privatization bill put forward by "The Good". Under this system, government interference in education would be reduced to an absolute minimum while still guaranteeing every child access to education, without bogus schemes of "universal subsidization", which promote an unnecessary growth in bureucracy and administration. Takeshi Shimoto MP Member for Elbian RFR Education Spokesman |

Message | Mr Speaker, We obviously prefer our own proposal as we believe in the absolute freedom of publicly-funded private companies ensuring freedom of choice for everybody. However, since the alternative is the segregational system of maintaining socialist public schools when denying funding for private schooling companies, we will vote in favour of this. Jeddite Maelic Tanist of The Good |

Message | Mr. Speaker, this would be the first step towards the complete privatisation of the Dranish education system and the denial of opportunity to all but those from the most privileged backgrounds. Shame on those who are supporting this! Leticia Saldanas MP Minority Leader |
