Description[?]:

Members of the House!

After inspection of the countries finances we must congratulate the Government on the steady, if not spectacular control of the nations purse strings. It is a commendable achievement that we run at a healthy surplus each year. In saying this, we can achieve much more for our peoples.

I propose we cut the Luxury goods sales tax and the higher band of tax. Such measure would boost economic growth and lead to happier more prosperous people.

Proposals1:1 Sales tax on luxury goods:
Currently - 21%
We Propose a c cut to 20%

1:2The Government's stance on a salary cap.

Currently: - Labour Unions and Organizations of Employers negotiate a salary cap.

We Propose - The government has no stance on a salary cap.

A more open market approach to to wages will result in a more competitive work force leading improved output.

1:3 Income tax simplification:

Currently - Bracket[?]
> 1 END 5%
> 1,000 END 10%
> 2,500 END 15%
> 5,000 END 18%
> 10,000 END 20%
> 25,000 END 25%

We propose -
> 1 END 0%
> 1,000 END 12%
> 2,500 END 12%
> 5,000 END 20%
> 10,000 END 20%
> 25,000 END 23%

We are in favor of some financial reforms. I suggest that you add some specific proposals to this bill and we will be glad to support any financial reform proposal that seems reasonable for us.

We can agree with some of the proposals in your draft of this financial plan. We will support this proposal text as a starter for further negotiations outside of the parliament. Because the current text has no legislation articles.

I suggest that we start looking for a financial 'consensus' pact. This would mean that the financial pact can only be approved with all the participating parties voting yes. This can be done in some sort of 'commission of economy and finances' with all participating parties having a parity.
