http://www.behindthename.com/random/ http://www.behindthename.com/names/usage/anglo-saxon http://tekeli.li/onomastikon/England-Saxon/Dithematic.html http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Appendix:English_surnames_from_Old_English Regarding surnames, one of those links suggest that a common suffix of Old English surnames is '-ingas', meaning 'people of'. So it wouldn't be too unrealistic to take an Old English first name and add 'ingas' to the end to form surnames. I think '-son' surnames and generic Nordic surnames would also be acceptable. Some modern English surnames even have links to Old English. Danish, Slovak, Czech, Russian, and Estonian names are also permitted as stated in the cultural protocols. |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
