Message | The Revolutionary Socialist Party Will support all articles in this except increasing of term limits. We understand the logic to this. But that logic is of a reactionary nature, it is trying to ensure a government can keep going despite a shift in opinions or it straying from its mandate, the current time limit will suffice. We ask Peoples Confederation remove said article for the purposes of practicality . That is, if to say the Peoples Confederation didn't just include said article under the guise of other slightly progressive articles. |

Message | The FRP believes the increased term is important to secure a stable and lasting republic. We think the short 3 year term is detrimental to effective government. That said, we will remove the proposal if it will prevent passing this important reform. Governor General Primrose |

Message | The RSP respect the logic behind what the newly named FRP say, but this is simply not the case. The longer term limits beyond what they already are do nothing but legitimise a government that is simply run its due date, a government that may have strayed from its mandate. The position of the RSP is that a government must at all times be answerable to its people, thusly if the peoples opinions change, the government should reflect that. The current time limits are more than enough. However we commend the other articles and will support them. |
