MessageMr Speaker,

The treaty under consideration is a perfect example of doing the right thing for the wrong reason. The trade embargo has the effect of strengthening the great nation of Rutania by denying other foreign powers the bounty of its wealth. While we object to the justifications used to pass the treaty, as the behavior of other nations is no concern of Rutania, we must voice our support to maintain this treaty.

Mr. Speaker,

We MIS-read the bill. We mean we SUPPORT the embargo against this CRUEL government.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
