Details

Submitted by[?]: Krsyijkai Jeztri Prta

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3515

Description[?]:

We believe the government has no right to tell a man how to show affection for his horse. The bond between a man and his horse goes beyond any temporal form of governance, it goes beyond the bond between a man and his wife, or his sons, or even a his God.

MessageAnimals cannot verbally communicate consent in sexual acts, so the Cosmopolitan Alliance will not support this measure in order to respect the integrity of legislation covering sexual acts.

In terms of future aspirations we would at the very least consider a reform of law in this area if it is really something your party members are passionate about.

We would certainly support a change of law so that the Government holds no policy concerning bestiality, but only if complemented by stricter punishments, including imprisonment, for animal abuse.

This way there would be no explicit legal reference to bestiality on the books, and cases would instead be assessed on levels of harm inflicted, rather than straying into sexual politics. This allows for discretion to be used on a case-by-case basis.

Unfortunately our legislative agenda offers no opportunity to implement such a proposal, so the matter will have to be referred to the Particracy Law Board http://forum.particracy.net/viewforum.php?f=21.
