Submitted by[?]: New Latin Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3516

Description[?]:

Article 6

Any given high school and above, will now include a student counsel. This Counsel is elected by the student body, and has the following powers...

I. To create, and push for student events (including dances, field trips, etc.)

II. To bring up teachers for review in front of the BoE if more than 50% of their students file a complaint report.

III. To bring up for review any changes to the curriculum, or parts of the curriculum that need to be changed.

Being a part of the Counsel gives no extra benefits to its members, and a meeting comes up once a week for a minimum of an hour, during a day and time to be agreed upon with the staff and the Counsel members.

Message*Deadly Sarcasm* Yes, because lower levels of education is always healthy to a society at large, especially when the rich will already continue their education to age 21, and the poor will be forced to drop out. I can't imagine how that will increase income disparity.

MessageIf you seek, like us, universal tertiary education then privatising university education is counterproductive.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.
