Bill: Income tax proposal of August 3516

Details

Submitted by[?]: Encarta Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3517

Description[?]:

The Encarta Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Federal Democratic People's Republic of Beluzia.

With this tax plan, the tax code is far more simpler. While we admit that poorer citizens will now have to pay taxes, it is at a very low amount of only 8 percent which we find reasonable. Through this, we have been able to cut the other brackets down 1 percent in relation to where they were in the old system. This also brings us in approximately 1.7 billion more BEL than the current system.
