Bill: Health Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Popular Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3519

Description[?]:

If the Dranish health system is to be truly world-leading, it must be freed from the shackles of the state and handed over to the private sector. At the same time however, we must be careful of the needs of low-income citizens, who we should continue to fund healthcare for.

We also need to focus the health budget where it is most needed- in our hospital wards and operating theatres. Therefore, we should not be wasting taxpayers' money on providing contraceptives.

Julie Smith MP
Health and Social Services Minister
