| After a brief inspection of the Imperial Army, we announce that it is more than capable of crushing the Deltarians and any other nation that would oppose us. However, we feel that some changes are in order. - The Imperial Army will be renamed "The Great Jelbek Horde", and split into four army groups. The White Horde, the Red Horde, the Black Horde and the Green Horde. The Hordes will be placed under the personal command of President Krsyijkai Jeztri, Prime Minister Kezkai Sagzi, Defense Minister Karo Mrjkai and the Heir of Jeztri, Wrntukai Jeztri, respectively. - The currently serving fieldmarshals, military attaches and advisors have been extremely unhelpful thus far, and have shown a shockingly disloyal lack of faith in our superior military prowess. All of these so-called 'military experts' will henceforth be offered retirement with a half-pension, or a demotion to lesser ranks. Their positions will be filled with members of the Jelbek clans, who might not have any formal military training or experience, but have a rich warrior tradition and are well-versed in the epic sagas of our illustrious ancestors. - The Defense Ministry will receive a modest increase in funds, all of which are earmarked for new uniform designs. The new dress uniforms will be black silk, orange brocade and dark purple velvet, in the style of traditional Jelbek shashtons, while the BDU's will be striped in bright yellow, red, and blue. The current camouflage BDU's will be phased out, as hiding from the enemy is cowardly. - Due to disloyalty from our Jelbanian troops, Jelbek will become the only permissible language for military command and communication. Use of Canraille or Terran will be punishable offences. Soldiers who do not speak Jelbek will be required to learn it on the job. - Aerial, artillery or naval bombardment of cities, townships, or enemy bases will be strictly forbidden, as the cultural and military wealth of Deltaria should be preserved in good condition, to be carried home by our conquering soldiers as pillage. - We don't understand all this talk of "echelons" and "logistics" and "enfilades", part of the reason we want the so-called "experts" talking about them to be dismissed from their posts. Clearly we have the far superior force, so no special tactics are required. The Army will mobilise in the old Jelbek way, as chronicled in our sagas, with a Vanguard in front, followed by the Mainguard, and finally the Rearguard. We believe that this older, simpler method of mobilisation will cut down on miscommunications and confusion, and lead to a great increase in battle effectiveness. - 30% of our military's trucks, jeeps and other motorised transport vehicles will be phased out in favour of horses, donkeys and camels. Using pack animals instead of motorised vehicles will grant our armies access to inhospitable terrain, and reduce our dependence on fuel supply lines, as they can be grazed in the field. - An elite all-female unit will be created, with triple-pay to reflect their status as the most elite warriors in our army. They will be personally handpicked by President Jeztri, and serve under his direct authority. They will also be required to sign documents waiving the right to sue President Jeztri under the national sexual harassment laws.
