We understand that most parties here are not in favor of abortion, so this legislation is probably the best alternative. Message | Mr Speaker, if the PPD were at all concerned with lowering abortion rates, they wouldn't propose universal funding for killing off unborn life. This proposal would add additional unneeded expenses to health care expenditure, which should be focused on medical infrastructure and practical treatment, not contraceptives and abortions. Date | 16:54:05, August 02, 2013 CET | From | Phillipsian Party of Dranland | To | Debating the Free Contraceptives Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, If the Rally for the Republic wanted to keep abortion rates down it would support this legislation. If this party wants less abortions to happen, which from its statements it does, it should support this legislation as a means to that end. -Caroline Ortega, Leader of the Phillipsian Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, our primary objective is the protection of the taxpayer, not meddling with abortion numbers, even though we decidedly disapprove of this practice. In any way, funding for abortions and contraceptives encourages the erosion of any sense of personal responsibility for sexual acts and is thus a vice in itself. Marie-Louise Belmonte MP Member for Ulbrach RFR Spokeswoman for Health and Social Services |
