Message | Mr. Speaker, I believe in a free market society. Not necessarily does that mean that I share the belief of the Right Honourable Chairwoman. Unions are a part of our economy. Just as there are employers' associations, there ought to be political representation for the workers and employees. I do not approve however, of economic special rights which they currently have. They should not be able to force non-union members to join them by exerting economical pressure on them. Thank you. I yield the floor. - Albert Treatsaw, LA's spokesman for Trade and Industry |
Date | 04:30:43, August 06, 2013 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Liberalising the Unions Bill |
Message | The Parti Républicain believes in a free market and free enterprise society in which all people are entitled to pursue any career in the public or private sector without having to face discrimination and especially without having to join a labor union in order to avoid paying a fee in their workplace. Our current stance on this issue is unacceptable, and I would support this measure of giving more economic freedom to the Alorian people, and with that Mr. Speaker, I yield the floor. Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
