Message | Mr. Speaker, This bill is a step in the right direction. We do however wish to change the article concerning the employer's right to fire striking workers. We do not support any government intervention in the hiring and firing of people, this should be the two sides of the industry's responsibility and it should therefore be illegal to fire striking workers so that the two sides are considered equal in their conflicts. We would also like that all trade unions could show solidarity to other unions and therefore have the right to go on a sympathy strike.
