MessageBy having a set mandate as to how businesses should approach hiring new employees, we guarantee that the necessary security checks are done, the candidate is sane and can contribute to the growth of the nation and not its demise

MessageAs the laws are now, Mr. Chairman, all drugs are legal. How do we prevent them from self-harming when we haven't banned ANY drugs at all? I think the Impartialists ought to propose a separate bill about drugs.

MessageThat is not what positive discrimination is. Positive discrimination is a policy where employers should try to favour persons from minorities (for example: racial minorities, homosexuals, persons with strange religions, etc.). It has nothing to do with individual applicants' qualifications for a job, and instead uses pity to overlook a person's qualifications. We would start hiring persons "just because they're black" or "just because they're gay" instead of ignoring all that and only focusing on the applicant's ability to do the job.

Finance Minister

MessageWith being enlightened as to the full meaning of the term, it has been decided to withdraw the proposal for such and agree with what stands, without challenge.
