MessageWe have been asked to put this treaty up for consideration.

We will probably lean against ratifying it, because of how long it is, how much non-binding material it contains, and how much of the material seems irrelevant to the main purpose of the bill.

MessageOOC: I'm not exactly sure how there is irrelevant waffle in the treaty; nor do I think it's long (look at any real treaty, and you'll be thanking me for not making you slog through a hundred pages of legalistic crap).

MessageOOC: The main purpose seems to be free trade, and too much of it varies from that topic. That's not to say that other material couldn't be done in other bills, but its better (in my opinion) to have more smaller succinct bills rather than large sprawling ones that are hard to understand as one.

Also, this is a game, so we shouldn't be trying to be as long as real treaties.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.
