Description[?]:

In order to ease the difficult situation within Jelbania we are proposing a cabinet reshuffle to form a "Grand Coalition" between the three major parties. This cabinet will last up until the next election.

The Justice Ministry, vacant since the murder of Sec. Goldman, will now be under the control of the Jelbék Srlji Pvstjogadé Pntejogad.

Message"While the JKTP welcomes the symbolism of this proposed grand coalition, it does not particularly care for the content. We are reluctant to empower a party with no mandate from the people with a position of such importance as the Foreign Affairs ministry and wonder why the Alliance has chosen that particular appointment?"

MessageForeign Affairs and Justice has been given to the Jelbék Srlji Pvstjogadé Pntejogad so that Jelbania can develop a more muscular, aggressive approach regarding Deltarian issues, both internally and with our foreign partners.

Finance is entrusted to the Jelbék Kezré Támnr Prta based on their responsible policy approaches regarding govt responsibilities and the market. Education and Culture, meanwhile, may be best in the hands of a party that fully understands the cultural complexities of our diverse peoples.

Message"The JKTP appreciates the words of confidence regarding our expertise, particularly regarding the Jelbek culture, but must again state that we have reservations regarding the JSPP's viability as minister of foreign affairs. While the Spjogad may not particularly like it, this nation is treaty-bound to the Deltarian Empire. We rely upon them for protection, as we are not allowed to wield a military any larger than ceremonial sized. We rely upon them for reconstruction funds in the post-war recovery. Is this really a relationship we want to jeopardize by placing the foreign affairs ministry in the hands of a party that by their own account 'attempts to subvert any sort of foreign rule and supplant it with the Jelbijék Krsyjogadnrkta?' The JKTP is a proponent of the Union of the North, and has made itself clearly so, but we have sworn vassalage to the Czar as well, and must delicately balance our foreign affairs. Let us see if the JSPP can even win seats in our own Royal Discussion Hall before we empower them to take on such heavy matters."

MessageThe JSPP's support on the streets and in the steppe is clear, so I feel it is worth bringing them into the governmental process in order to legitimate their ideology and prevent violence.

The recent banning of paramilitary groups was the first step towards integrating these groups into a peaceful democracy, and this move, while some may see it as premature, should be considered the final step. The cabinet will run govt for less than two years, when hopefully our troubles will be behind us.

Message"Respectfully, until the voters have cast their ballots, no support for the JSPP is 'clear.' They could win only 10,000 votes in 3531 and we would have empowered perhaps the most important ministry to a party representing 10,000 people. Not to mention that they represent 0 people as of this moment, so the case is even more deperate.

"The JKTP prefers a foreign ministry filled by the Spjogad, even though we do not agree with their treatment of Jelbania's ethnic Deltarians, to a foreign ministry filled by the Pntejogad, as nearly 26,500,000 Jelbanians voted for the Spjogad in December 3527. 0 Jelbanians have voted for the JSPP. If that situation should change in a year's time then we will be willing to entertain such a coalition proposal. But for now we cannot yield on this."

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
