Bill: Upgrading Our Banks - 3531
Details
Submitted by[?]: Great National Republican Guard
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes for the ratification of a treaty. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3531
Description[?]:
KFS is internationally known to provide the world's best banking systems. Currently, the LOD is not available as a currency for listing global economic statistics. Let us effective restore ourselves to the position of the banking power of the world, by bringing the Karavs' Banks here. They have promised to name their Lodamese branch as the world headquarters for all their offices. This is good for us, as it will provide jobs and bring "Corporate Tourism" to our cities. Their bank will be private, i.e. owned by them. It will not have any relation to the central bank, though the central bank is free to contract them to conduct audits or hold other responsibilities; they are willing to accept. |

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
