Description[?]:
This bill hopes to change the media landscape by reforming legislation on what can and cannot be broadcast. We firstly seek to liberalise advertising standards so that businesses feel free to promote their services and goods in whatever means they feel appropriate. Secondly we want to lift restrictions on the media imposed during periods of unrest, while retaining the state's right to investigate claims of false information and hate speech. Finally we would like to open up the Internet for all so that free & open discussion can flourish. We also feel this will help digital industries and innovation in Jelbania. Illegal activities online will be investigated by a dedicated police task-force. |
