MessageMr. Speaker,

Drugs are forbidden because of humanitary reasons: they cause a huge damage to every consumer, and unfortunately they spread like a plague.

The first pill is recreational; the following ones are because of addiction.

DU Health and Social Services manager

Mr. Lloyd,

Of course, we AGREE with you 100%. HOWEVER, the FACT is that people are going to USE the drugs REGARDLESS of whether they are "illegal" or NOT. If they are ILLEGAL, it will only create a BLACK MARKET where the "The Mafia" and Organized Crime control run RAMPANT. If the NATURALLY-occurring (NOT chemically produced like heroin and cocaine) drugs are made LEGAL (and REGULATED), then that will put the MAFIA out of business and crime will naturally lower. The SAME argument can be made for prostitution although we believe if Prostitution is legal, it MUST be regulated to protect against STDs.
