Message | Mr. Speaker, If this isn't Socialism, then I don't know what is. Why does the SS and her allies seek to stigmatize the wealthy? What good does having a maximum wage do for us? Marta Wilson UPR Congressional Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Then the UPR does not know anything. This is not wealth redistribution, not socialism; this is sound economic policy. If employers want a large salary, then they must give their employees decent salaries. If not, well they should spend the rest of the profits on research and development. Executives with obscenely high salaries are not good for the economy. Morris Ridgeway-Bates SS Deputy Leader |
Date | 03:59:10, August 20, 2013 CET | From | Capitalist Working Families | To | Debating the Salary Cap |
Message | Mr. Ridgeway-Bates, This bill VIOLATES the integrity of the PRIVATE CONTRACT negotiated between Management, their SHAREHOLDERS (the PUBLIC), and (now thanks to a Union Rights' bill that WE helped passed) the EMPLOYEES' UNION!!! It should NOT be the "business" of government bureaucrats and politicians to "dictate" in a FREE society what company executives should make so as long as Government enforces the RIGHT to COLLECTIVELY BARGAIN for a JUST wage and benefits. Under CURRENT law, workers HAVE that right. --The Capitalist WORKING FAMILIES Party Spokesman |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
