Description[?]:
Slavery is currently allowed in Malivia, and support for the evil practice is so extreme that Malivians who oppose it have been murdered.(forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&start=120#p63893) The passage of this bill will result in the following actions: 1. Victims of slavery--which includes slaves and those who are persecuted for their anti-slavery beliefs--will be granted refugee status by the Rutanian government if so requested. They will be entitled to aid as the present law allows. 2. Rutania will not extradite victims of the Malivian slave trade for as long as slavery persists in that country. 3. Malivian slavers found on Rutanian soil will be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with Rutanian law. 4. Slavers are henceforth barred from Rutanian territory. 5. The Commonwealth of Rutania officially condemns the Malivian government. This bill is effective immediately. |

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation. |
