Message | As you can see, the DFP gained support, but lost 4 seats! This is a travesty! The ACF's vote increased dramatically, and yet their seats remained on 5. The UTP's vote increased, and yet they stayed on the same number of seats. The DNP gained votes and yet lost seats. The Maroon Party got 21% of the vote, and yet 25% of the seats! Lets change back before more damage is done to the people! |

Message | Furthermore, it isnt even about rural/urban representation. Regions include both! Just because a region has a smaller population doesnt mean it has no cities in it! We must bring back representative democracy in Dorvik! |

Message | We Agree, foolish experiment |
Date | 12:48:18, May 12, 2005 CET | From | Maroon Party | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | The DFP didn't gain support. It went from 16.24% to 14.68%. The last election has a higher turnout. |

Message | (OOC: this proposal was accidentally not marked as constituional; it is now!) |

Message | We agree DFP. |
Date | 13:35:59, May 12, 2005 CET | From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | Ah, I failed to see the higher turnout. Still, the ACF got a higher % of vote. |
Date | 13:37:41, May 12, 2005 CET | From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | I appreciate it being constitutional now, but the original vote was 55-45. This meant it passed despite having less than 2/3. Now, as it is so close, it will be hard to put back to what it used to be. |
Date | 14:16:02, May 12, 2005 CET | From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | Should this pass, would anyone be in favour of an election to re-address the inncorrect representation that is currently evident in Dorvik? Or shall we wait until August 2053? |
Date | 14:38:56, May 12, 2005 CET | From | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | The ACF humbly confesses its mistake in proposing the previous bill. We will support a return to the previous situation. For now, that is. |
Date | 17:38:02, May 12, 2005 CET | From | United Territorial Party | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | The mistake was forgivable. I was also slightly confused as to the implications of the system. |
Date | 18:39:06, May 12, 2005 CET | From | Dorvik National Party | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | When this passes we should have new elections straight after. |
Date | 13:03:42, May 13, 2005 CET | From | Maroon Party | To | Debating the Election Reform! |
Message | Well let's wait off on new elections until all the bills currently being debated are done being voted on. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
