Bill: Luthori-Indrala Negotiations

Details

Submitted by[?]: SoNat Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3542

Description[?]:

The Luthori Parliament with the Protector of the Realms hereby approves trading ten regions for ten regions to Indrala according to the map provided. With approval from Indrala, it will become law, and our colonial holdings will be reorganized accordingly. The benefits of this transaction are as followed:

1. Luthori colonial holdings will be in one geographical location on Dovani not seperated by other nations. Currently we require permission to transport people and goods from our colonies to other colonies on the continent.

2. Additional territory to New Mordusia will give us a Luthori straight that will give us authority over a crucial shipping lane between Dovani and Squibble, which we also own.

3. The additional territory of Medina will be closer to Vascania for transportation purposes. This negotiation will consolidate Luthori colonial holdings into an empire formation.

4. The Protector of the Realm with the Parliament may continue negotiations that may differ from this map. A final bill will be passed finalizing negotiations. This bill is non-binding, but sends a signal of political unity on Luthori intentions.

MessageSocial Nationalists,

Please provide a before and after picture. Its not clear from that picture what the changes are.

We are likely to support this, however.

Do the Tories have any reasons for opposing this move?

Speaker of the Parliament

MessageMr. Speaker,

In the first place, the SoNat party had no jurisdiction with which to negotiate with Indrala on behalf of Luthori or her colonies. And in the second, and far more importantly, the lives of Luthori subjects are not for sale at any price, and are certainly not the currency of shabby gerrymandering with despotic and murderous regimes.

I yield the floor.

MessageMr. Speaker,

SoNat has been negotiating in concert with the Progressive Party and the Luthori Independent Party as part of the Republican Coalition that has the authority to negotiate on behalf of Luthori colonies, or any foreign negotiation for that matter.

I Yield

Negotiations on this proposal have not been accepted by Indrala side, but this vote is a sign of unity. Other proposals may be in the works.
