Bill: Public Safety Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dorvish Popular Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2051
Description[?]:
We believe the police have the rights and responsibility to break up groups of people. The police need not give a reason because in the heat of the moment, in a potential riot or terror attack, they will not have time to explain to the populace. Furthermore, giving a reason may compromise a source the govt has within this organisation. |

Old value:: There are no restrictions on the right of citizens to assemble in groups.
Current: The police may only disperse a crowd if a state of emergency has been declared.
