| We want to raise the sales tax. We will propose a new budget soon enough. While it looks crazy to raise the sales tax on essential goods, there is justification for it. The wealthy will always be able to afford essential goods. The most vulnerable people rely on welfare, which is given by the government. If we tax the money the wealthy citizens use on food, we will be able to provide food for those with smaller incomes. |
