Description[?]:
It is time for us to protect our great industry and workforce from cheap 3rd world labor. Without tariffs to protect local goods all our people will buy is cheap foreign goods and ignore pricier local goods. If no one is buying local goods our local industry eventually shuts down which leads to unemployment and reduction of living standards so we can compete. Also the heavy influx of unskilled uneducated illegal immigrants steal our most important jobs for less than minimum wage creating even more unemployment. To combat these grave evils we must again introduce protectionist tarrifs and quotas and combat illegal immigration. |
