Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, Over the course of the decade it has become increasingly evident that Premier Harold Lee Jun's leadership in the former Dranish Autonomous Zone is a threat and is not in the interests of the Republic. In the progress of our development of the DAZ we sought to also deliver greater democracy and representation to the people residing in the region. This democratization became hijacked by ideologues and personalities who were more concerned with personal political power. The original goals of democratization were lost and instead the DAZ has developed into a illegitimate faux democracy. This illegitimate entity under the leadership of Harold Lee Jun has made clear its intentions to ultimately achieve total separation from the Republic. Premier Jun is consistently working against the Republic, he has attempted to undermine the Dranish people in the DAZ, and now he is encouraging blatant anti-Dranish attitudes. The illegitimate fascist leadership of Harold Lee Jun must be brought to an end and the Republic must restore the hopes of democratization to the former Dranish Autonomous Zone. We can no longer tolerate this false democratic state which is led by fascist hordes and militants. Jun's faction is becoming more and more separatist and violent. Now there is even a Commonwealth Liberation Army operating in the region. The Republic has always held a very strict stance against paramilitaries in the DAZ. We have never tolerated them and that should remain the precedent. We call upon the Parliament to authorize military operations against the Commonwealth Liberation Army. The military will take what it views as the necessary measures to eliminate the CLA; be it through covert action, air strikes on bases, or whatever other means. We also call upon the Parliament to revoke the Dranish Autonomous Zone Reorganization Act and to remove Premier Harold Lee Jun from power. Northern Utari Mosir shall be put under the full authority of the Republic of Dranland and shall remain so until the stabilization of the region and the elimination of the CLA. After that is achieved, new legislation will be drafted to institute democracy and administrative procedure in the Dranish territory of Northern Utari Mosir. Message | Mr Speaker, This plan represents the total some of Dranish colonialist aspirations. It is an imperialist move to subjugate our people to the will of Dranland and her exploitive practices. With each more radical and reactionary proposal to dispel, with force our democracy the people of NUM see the only alternative to Dranish rule is full independence. Message | Mr Speaker, The DHA supports this very sensible Act although we should adopt only a temporary suspension of DAZ/NUM autonomy. Once fascist filth is cleaned off, it will be alright to restore autonomy under strict democratic conditions. The Government will move to declare a State of emergency over the DAZ Dr. Enrique Ovalle Taoiseach Member for Elbian. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is our intention to eventually restore a sense of autonomy to Northern Utari Mosir; but only after stability is achieved and a new constitution is drafted for the government of the region. The people of Northern Utari Mosir deserve democracy, just as much as they deserve to remain as Dranish territory. The future administration of the NUM should be based upon the same administration provided to Dranish provinces, but with some modifications that appropriately account for the NUM's vast size and status. The current administration of the NUM is not helpful to the goals of democracy, unionism, and modernization. And this administration and constitution has not only failed to fulfill these goals, but it has also allowed for a resurgence of terrorism and paramilitary activity. Message | Mr Speaker, The blantant lies from the KDF and DHA are appalling. We have democracy in NUM. We have had three successful, fair and free elections, we chose our government, our leaders and our values. Under DAZRA and NUMDASA we wrote our own laws and a Constitution detailing our government and our values. We have a strong and stable democracy which reflects the will of the people. However we will not pay homage and pledge fiealty to our Dranish overlords on demand. We are a free people and while we once valued and worked hard to achieve a good relationship with Dranland our efforts were cast off. We are not the ones who trample the decisions of democratic bodies. We do not threaten our brethren when they do not constantly praise us. We don't intervene in the affairs of others with force when they don't agree with us. James Woodward NUM Representitive |

Message | Mr Speaker, Mr Woodward, how dare you peddle your falsehoods here while your fascist masters rip NUM apart? Confidential sources have affirmed that the fascists are stirring up people and spreading havoc. The Government will respond in a firm way and regain its colony/territory at all costs. You best wish your 4,000 man army be made of fire breathing dragons for when we stomp on NUM and the earth will tremble Francisco Pico MP Defence Minister Member for Valdor OOC: BTW there are no paramilitaries allowed in Dranland and the NUM has no defence forces of any kind. It could perhaps mobilise its own police forces, other than that, it won't look very realistic. |

Message | OOC: The nager is a bit too much for limiting ministries and appointing a Environmental Ombusman. A few violent protests nothing more in my view is best. |

Message | We might disagree with Mr. Jun on some policies, but we believe that NUM deserves such rights as autonomy. At the same time, we are disturbed at the events in NUM. I ask that Mr. Jun solve the problems in NUM, if he can't do that then we the Draddwyr don't want anything to do with his government, and rather declare independence from both parties, if this any worst. Message | Ooc: the protests started with the govt organization bill and then snowballed further when the KDF called for a military intervention. And the CDF was previously established as the NUM organized and ran force. |

Message | OOC: Its just too fast and the KDF is not in Government so their views could not really inflame the NUM populace much. And all this has happened in just about 9 days, the sacking, the paramilitaries... |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I would like to express my concern to this Parliament that Northern Utari Mosir may not just be drifting closer towards independence, but also closer to foreign domination. The recent "gift" from Dundorf is questionable; it is said to be without any attachments, but no sovereign state gives out such a large sum of money without some kind of attachments. In the long-term there will surely be conditions to this so-called "gift" from Dundorf. In addition to the introduction of Dundorf there is the continued operations of the Zardics and the potential entrance of Indrala. It is my fear that Northern Utari Mosir, especially if it were to gain independence or too great an amount of autonomy, will slowly shift towards greater dominance by foreign powers. We must be cautious of this prospect and Premier Jun should not be fooled by the strangely huge generosity of foreigners. Oh Yung-il, MP Member for Elbian |

Message | Mr Speaker, We are trying to rebuild our economy since our Dranish brethren have left. All of these new investments will go to helping build an economy that is stable and bring stability to our people. Our people are out of work, with no dignity but to take the generosity of others. We are working to make sure are people can provide for themselves, to provide for their families! If the Dranes are so worried about "foreign domination" then perhaps they should invest and work with us rather than sending in the military to trample our rights! James Woodward NUM Representative |

Message | Mr. Ou Yung-il, I will make the position of the Indralan Government clear, in no way, shape, or form will we ever support independence for the Dranish Autonomous Zone. Indrala sold that region to Dranland firmly believing that it is the sovereign right of Dranland to govern the region in whatever way it chooses. Any future Indralan investments will be for the benefit and welfare of the Kyo, Draddwyr, and Dranianos peoples in the DAZ.
