Message | My message was duplicated, I apologise but instead of the alignment with one side why not act as a neutral party and have the leader of both sides meet and try to make ends meet instead of make an enemy out of the Dranish ? - Clarence Jones, Foreign Affairs Minister |

Message | You want ends to meet. I want a start to be met. If the Dranish take offence to this, it's their problem. We are simply giving respect to Utari Mosir. We aren't saying that Dranland shouldn't be independent. Dranland is already independent. If we're going to recognise a leader enough to moderate discussion between him and someone else, why not recognise the country he leads? If we only recognise Dranland, we won't appear to be making peace between 2 states... It will be more like mocking the leader of Utari Mosir while only considering the Dranish leader to be a leader. -- Dereck Moore, Former Foreign Minister, Trade/Industry Minister |

Message | But the discussion could be done in our country to emphasise our neutrality, war is mostly started when the path to achieving a goal is being obstructed, this discussion could get rid of this obstruction, if the Dranish have not changed their stance after the meeting that will be the deciding factor in our choice of whether to form diplomatic ties with Utari Mosir -- Clarence Jones, Foreign Affairs Minister |

Message | We're not asking the Congress to declare war on Dranland. We're just asking the Congress to recognize Utari Mosir as a legitimate state, and from there we can facilitate discussions between Dranland and Utari Mosir as 2 independent states. -- Dereck Moore, Former Foreign Minister, Trade/Industry Minister |

Message | But you had not made your intention to facilitate any discussion between the 2 known until now and you've made it clear that you do not care if war is declared which would be proof of the Dranish taking offense to the diplomatic ties made with Utari Mosir, wouldn't it have been wise to state the possibilities or benefits of this bill from the beginning ? -- Clarence Jones, Foreign Affairs Minister |

Message | We aren't proposing to facilitate discussion between them. Since you are proposing that, we are simply letting you know that we would have to recognize Utari Mosir as a sovereign state before being able to facilitate discussion between them and Dranland. We only said that we're asking Congress to recognize the sovereignty of Utari Mosir, "and from there we can facilitate discussions" but if you want to facilitate discussions between them, it wouldn't be wise to only recognize Dranland while denying recognition to Utari Mosir. It wouldn't be true neutrality. -- Dereck Moore, Former Foreign Minister, Trade/Industry Minister |
