| Now that the political right has lost its majority VG would like to submit a new and more progressive tax proposal that will address the deficit crisis in our country and raise new revenues to again invest in health, education and other vital areas that have recently suffered from massive cut-backs. While VG favours a higher top tax rate than is proposed here (and notes that the top rate was recently as high as 90%), we have decided to settle on 65% as a sensible compromise proposal that we hope can win majority support. |

| Message | We would like Arbeiderpartiet to explain what they find objectionable about the proposal. We have a deficit of 43 billion KKR which can only be addressed with tax rises while the health service has been decimated under the right-wing government with half of its funding taken away overnight. Most Kazulians would be happy to pay more in tax in order to again enjoy the first class public services which our nation used to be proud of. |
