Message | Our current law imposes protectionist tariffs, meaning the tariffs would be 0% for goods which don't compete with local goods. Whether another nation imposes tariffs on our goods is not our concern, and shouldn't determine what our law is. The current law exists to protect our local production from foreign competition. -- George Martin, Former Chairman of the NRG, Trade/Industry Minister |
