Voting deadline: August 3559
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, instead of keeping failed structures alive by increasing spending every time the economy gets worse and worse, we should eliminate the crippling direct and indirect restrictions government imposes on the market through its incompetent interventionism. Instead of crying for higher taxes and more "public investment" - which is just politicians' way of saying "I have no clue what I'm doing, so let's blow some more cash" - we must eradicate the roots of our economic misery, which is, has always been and will always be, misguided government interference in the free market. Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
