MessageIf both these bills get accepted. This would mean that first of. Our revenue will be lowered by roughly 2 percent. And that our expenses will raise with 9500000000. Before we had moderate taxes with a surplus of 4.88 percent which is too high. With these proposals we will have a medium surplus of 2.58 percent. Some may think this isn't enough but this is only a start

ooc: Im using the spreadsheet calculator for particracy and with our previous budget it says we had too much of a surplus

MessageWhat this does is cut funding of our defense(which is very generous as it is) and spend it on different other ministries as infrastructure, health,... Nearly everything has been raised

MessageBeluzian Security forces work day and night to ensure the safety and sovergeinty of our beloved country. They put their lives in risk daily to protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic.Any cut will just compromise our defence significantly therefore RDNP wont accept any cuts in defence.

Instead we would propose a necessary bump in defence spending : 30,000,000,000 BEL at least

MessageOur spending is already unnecesaraly large. We need to see this in proportion. What you guys are proposing is that military becomes the greatest spender., and for what? To defend our lands. Its not like we are fighting a war.

Ooc:im using the financial spreadsheet provided and it shows our current military spending as very high

MessageWhile a 2000000000 BEL increase in Finance is rather unnecessary, upto 1.5 would have done...we do not appreciate the cut in defence spending so drastically. We've always maintained 'defence' as our second biggest spend, and would like to keep it so.

Messageinteresting proposal. As most of you seem to disagree with the cuts to military i will keep it as it is and to maintain our healthy surplus I will cut back funding of finance back to its original state and lower the proposed spending of environment and tourism

MessageWe do not have any issues with the increase in environment and tourism at all, could be good for us too! And even finance is not a concern, just a suggestion, since the Finance ministry is a bureaucratic one mostly and allots funds to the relevant ministries/departments through budget proposals like these, so it may not require much funding increase of its own at the moment.
As Finance Minister, it is your prerogative entirely, to make decisions you feel are best!

MessageWhile we applaud a reduction in defense spending we would feel the size of government is too large to begin with, rather than distributing the savings from defense to the other ministries, we should return that largess to the Beluzian people.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
