MessageWe're surprised that the Libertarian Anarchist Faction couldn't find a way to gain the support of the rest of the AAS in voting in favor of this bill.

MessageThe Libertarian wing of the AAS did push for support, but were argued down on a technicality. The other factions made a convincing case that market forces should govern in the market place, but that those helped by the current 'cash payment' scheme are below even access to the market place.

In other words, market forces can only help those who can participate in the market.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
