Message | This is an unacceptable attack on the separation of church and state. The State should have absolutely no involvement in telling schools what they can and cannot teach (or indoctrinate). If parents want to send their kids to a Kansas-themed mental school, they can. If they would rather send their kids to a proper school, they can. Since it is their money and their kids, it is their choice. Obviously it would be a different ball game if there were any state schools (in which case the teachers at state schools would be representatives of the state and hence teacher-led prayers in state schools would be unacceptable), but one of the great things about Trigunia is that all our schools are private so we do not have to worry about the state brainwashing the young through the school system. |
