Bill: Refugee Act 2160
Details
Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2162
Description[?]:
With the coming war on Kalistan, we feel we must restrict refugees from entering our nation. Many Kalistani citizens, displaced by war, may realise that Gaduridos is a truly wonderful place to live. They will see our magnificent armed forces, and they will know that our nation is truly superior to theirs. Our current laws give all refugees the right to enter our nation. We feel that no refugees be allowed to enter, lest they clog our streets with their filth and use our precious resources that would be better consumed by Gaduri citizens. |

Old value:: All refugees are welcome but no financial aid is given to them.

Proposed: No refugees are allowed to enter the country.

Message | We say, let those refugees come, for they represent a fresh work force for those less sought-after work. Obviously, this will mean that our police force will have an harder work to do, keeping an eye on thes refugees.. |
Date | 02:02:13, December 24, 2005 CET | From | Totalitarian Party | To | Debating the Refugee Act 2160 |
Message | They will be a work force exhausted by a long voyage and the rigours of war. They will not be fit to work. Their labour will be inefficient and unreliable. |

Message | It must be said that in the past my party has taken a hard line where refugees are concerned however those day are at an end and we will not be supporting this bill as we feel it is to extreme we will not support a complete closure of our borders we would however support quotas which would cover the needs of the TP and would protect the interests of our citizens. |
Date | 01:32:48, December 26, 2005 CET | From | Totalitarian Party | To | Debating the Refugee Act 2160 |
Message | This bill has not been proposed because we are scared these monkeys will be taking our jobs. The Totalitarian Party does not like foreigners; especially the unedcuated and the poor ones who seem to form the majority of those who want to enter our nation. "I'm not doing well in my own filthy country, and I hear people are successful in Gaduridos, so I might go there." These people are responsible for much of the crime in our nation. They form their gangs and they target Gaduri citizens because they are jealous of our wonderful lives. They are scum, and they should not be allowed into our nation. |
