Bill: Ending the LPP Presidency - 3579

Details

Submitted by[?]: Great National Republican Guard

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3580

Description[?]:

Neither Hank Taylor nor Peter Baker have proven to be worthy Presidents. Lodamun's People Party has never held a solid majority on their own in Lodamun.

Nationalists have had over 34% of the seats since 3567. For the past 2 elections, no other party has had a third of the seats. As the most popular party, we ask the Presidium to elect a Nationalist as President.

Paul Fertig, our Presidential candidate, has proposed a coalition with LPP and the NDF.

MessageMr. Speaker,

LPP hasn't won any seats in Kregon (Lodamun's largest state) in the last elections. Nationalists are the only party who have a solid majority (>50%) in a single province, and we have seats in all provinces (unlike LPP).

It is obviously not the will of the people for LPP to be the main governing party.

I agree with Fertig's opinion. I believe, that NRP-LPP-NDF government is the people's will and the best option for our nation's future.

General of the NDF
