Bill: The National Revitalization Act of 3579
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Citrian Guard of the Blood Orange
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 3580
Description[?]:
Our nation will be restored as a military power. In order to do this we will need better defense industries. Our people have forgotten their warrior roots. They don't remember what it means to be a Likatonian, and so we must bring greater national pride to the country. This can be done through discouraging unpatriotic practices and regulating energy in order to set prices that will make citizens proud to be Likatonian. We must protect people's individual freedoms from "mobocracy" as well by allowing police to intervene when public safety is at stake, however; we must put in place laws of procedure that will prevent federal and local police from turning into bands of thugs. There is no room for nobility and the aristocracy that ensues in modern government. We must ensure liberty for every individual, not liberty for a select group of individuals. |

Message | We would also like to shorten legislative terms in order to increase their interest in listening to their constituents and to prevent them from growing fat off of corruption and funding from special interest groups. The right of the individual to have a voice is at stake. |
Date | 15:44:23, November 21, 2013 CET | From | AM Radical Libertarian Party | To | Debating the The National Revitalization Act of 3579 |
Message | Article 1 puts too much power in the hands of police, taking it away from an elected body. Articles 2 and 3 would be the camel's nose for government regulation and control of free enterprise. Article 4 is too sweeping, with no defining regulations as to what constitutes desecration. Articles 5 thru 9 are acceptable. |

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law. |
