MessageMr. Speaker,

These reforms are nothing more than an expansion of state power! All that would need to be done to put anyone in jail would be to classify them as a terrorist! The steady erosion of freedom continues under the coalition government. The concept of having approved and disallowed third parties sounds uncomfortably Orwellian. Reforms such as this seek to entrench the powers that be. If riots can not happen, how can an oppressive government be overthrown? IF an election is rigged, how can the populace fight back?

MessageMadame Speaker,

The Opposition Leader actually cries about the usefulness or riots? Preposterous! This government is moving to protect the interests of the Zardic people. The mass release of classified information will only aid our enemies and persons engendering riots should be put in jail as they endanger the public safety!

MessageMadame Speaker,

The Prime Minister needs a sociology lesson. Riots, strikes and the like are essential tools of the populace to ensure their will is law. The coalition's plan put's us on a slippery slope, when they have the most to gain from suppression. When they decide what is terrorism and rioting, they decide who they can jail. The entirety of this bill is crooked, and a Labour government will fight it in opposition, and, if need be, repeal it in government.

Madame Speaker,

There is nothing dangerous or oppressive in this bill and any talk to the contrary is hysterical hearsay! We are trying to protect our diplomatic efforts and the public safety and this legislation does NOT infringe on the rights of the people.
