Message | For better national security. NDF proposes curfew time between 11PM - 5AM, excluding workers who are moving between their workplace and home during this time. |
Date | 19:48:45, November 29, 2013 CET | From | Great National Republican Guard | To | Debating the National Safety Act 3583 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, This can destroy the late-night entertainment industry. We understand the NDF's concerns for security, but we would like to add that practicality must be considered. While we favour a mostly strong and secure state, there may be social unrest if we do not keep the people distracted through entertainment and other madness. Our view on this is shared on this bill as well: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=397197 If we placate and comfort the people, they are easier to control. If we have a rigid system and expect them to be robots, they will rebel. We are a party that wants a strong government for the people, but not necessarily above the people. We support Article 5. Article 4 is negotiable, but we cannot support Article 6. -- Paul Fertig, Chairman of the NRG, President of Lodamun |
