| The Ba'ath Majatran Socialist Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Sultanate of Al'Badara. Our nation has not only accepted legislation to begin operations against Deltaria, but we have been the victims of a declaration of war from Kanjor. We expect the rest of the Axis nations to soon follow suit. Therefore, we wish to propose this wartime budget which will hugely increase defence spending. This is necessary to secure Terra, as we must train the masses of patriotic recruits we have already had enlisting as well as rebuilding and repairing. We have cut levels of growth across most of the rest of the budget - however, there is still more than enough to maintain the nation. Further cuts may be necessary at a later stage but, rest assured, Al'Badaras economy can handle them. Areas such as tourism, which has totally gone out of the window in the current international climate have had particularly severe cuts - it is a decision we are willing to take and a sacrifice we must be willing to take. This is a total war which means the entire nation must prepare for war or face destruction! |

| Message | We would like to see these funding cuts to health and education restored as soon as possible. Additional (RP only): Dundorf has pledged us a grant (reparations) of 5% of our GDP, a substanial sum. Some of this is earmarked for foreign aid, but we could say the rest has gone to boost defence as well. |
