Description[?]:
We propose this bill as a means of promoting reduced spending, while still trying to offer as many services as possible to those who need them. By passing this bill, we will reign in government spending and thereby be able to lower taxes, providing more income to the citizens of Beluzia. Article 1: We feel that as a government, part of our focus is taking care of it's citizens and their children. That being said, it is a personal choice as to whether or not you decide to have a large family. Therefore, we believe it is of personal responsibility that should decide whether you can afford to have a large family or not, not the government incentives. Article 2: If a citizen has a private pension, then why is the state having to pay for them to have a secondary pension. We see this as a bonehead move and unnecessary spending. We are willing to provide a public pension for those who need or desire such a thing. Article 3: A national fire department seems unnecessary, especially when local governments can better fund and direct their respective fire stations. Knowing what immediate threats and hazards there are, that the national government does not know would be a huge boon to the service being provided. Article 4: For many, public transport is a secondary option to private transport. For the poor, public transport is the only means of travel. |

Message | With all of these articles in mind, I estimate a savings of roughly anywhere from 5-15 trillion BEL, 10 trillion being closer to the actual figure. We hope the other parties will agree to these terms, if not please voice any opposition. |

Message | I hate to see huge cuts in aid like this, but I think we've spurred enough economic growth that the middle class has returned to Beluzia. Anyway, we are putting the bill up for vote! |
