| Message | "Mr. Speaker, In recent months, I have received approaches from members of the Karav banking clan, relating to the establishment of business in the Holy Luthori Empire. I have shown the proposal to my esteemed colleague, the Rt Hon Chancellor of the Exchequer, who remains sceptical about the proposal, but can see no concrete objections to be made at present. I ask that this Diet consider the treaty in question seriously. The ratification, or rejection, of it could have serious and lasting economic repurcussions for the Empire. At this delicate moment in our history, with our international situation so delicate, it is my considered view that we cannot allow such a treaty to go with insufficient consideration.
