Message | Madame Speaker, This act is highly unconstitutional. No parliament can constrain the actions of a future parliament. The ZPP is currently filing a legal challenge to this document in Federal District Court of Belgae to prevent it from becoming law. Further the Labour Party would be wise to wield their power well given the democratic deficit in this body at the time. Gerald Hutling OOC: hopefully we can use this as an opening to having some greater judicial involvement. given the 20+ years of ZPP rule i would say most of the judiciary is fairly conservative |
