Section 1 - The legislature of the Majatran Republic of Al'Badara is to be known as the People's Council (Majlis al-Sha'ab), a unicameral legislature; Section 2 - The People's Council is to be lead by the Speaker of the People's Council, the Speaker of the People's Council is to be elected by the deputies of the People's Council by a simple, secret ballot majority vote; Section 3 - The People's Council shall have legislative initiative in the Majatran Republic of Al'Badara and shall be required to pass laws with a simple majority; Section 4 - The People's Council shall have the ability to introduce amendments to the Constitution of the Majatran Republic of Al'Badara through Constitutional Laws, Constitutional Laws must be passed with a two-thirds majority of the People's Council; Section 5 - The People's Council shall abide by the laws set out by the Constitutional law "On the People's Council of the Majatran Republic of Al'Badara". |
